Earthshine's music is frequently described as "haunting","beautiful" and "soothing." A blend of folk, music of the Renaissance Era, ethnic traditional sounds (especially of the Middle East) and a touch of Celtic melancholy combine into their enchanting sound. Kris' songs focus on themes related to the natural world, the living creatures with whom we share this planet, personal experiences and people who inspire her, the complexities and trials of contemporary and historical life, and the injustices that exist in the human social matrix... and much, much more.
